Small enough to fit in a desk drawer and light enough to mount on the wall or under a desk, the Evo D510 e-pc was designed to maximize space and blend seamlessly into the user's environment. The Evo D510 e-pc can share a common image with other D500 series models with the same chipset for simplified IT management. And the toolless entry design allows quick and easy access to internal parts for simple upgrade and repair. Having a consistent, stable platform means that you can integrate the Evo D510 e-pc at your own pace, without having to qualify and test the image each time you order. Stable deployment of software images minimizes IT costs. As with all Compaq products, the Evo D510 e-pc was designed with increased focus on improved accessibility and usability for all customers. The Evo D510 e-pc is a top-performing workhorse with a space-saving design!

Advantages: Flexible, Robust, Easy to service Disadvantages: No USB ports on front
...As with many Compaq models you have the option of setting up your PC as a tower or dektop, and this Evo is one. In addition, you are also able to change the position of the CD/DVD & Floppy drives as required. So whether the case is standing on edge or lying on its side, the CD-ROM and DVD drives have their typical horizontal placement.

Advantages: Reliable, quiet and space-efficient. Disadvantages: Not much room for expansion.
...When I got my D510 a few months ago, more or less everybody in the office had a comment to make. Mostly along the lines of "That's cool isn't it?" or "How come you get all the best stuff?". I'm a programmer and spend all of every working day with my computer, so without the right tool the job doesn't get done. This model isn't the most poweful in terms of processor speed or memory, but XP seems to love it and they get along famously. Here...

Advantages: Small Form Factor but still space inside Disadvantages: Cabling can be tight
...We have 800 of these and so far they have been great. Reliability wise we have only had a few problems over the last 2 years where a couple of power supplies have popped.
Do not be scared of the small form factor - these boxes can still hold extra stuff. We had quite tight requirements for the boxes we needed. Basically, we wanted to add an IDE Raid card, an extra hard disk, and 1GB or RAM. All of this was possible inside this tiny box. The floppy can be removed as not many people use them these days, and in its place you can install another hard disk. The case does have the opening for the floppy on the front, but it doesn't look bad.
As I mentioned in the title, the box can be tight for cabling, but you'd expect that for the size.
The only annoyance with the box is the mechanism for lifting the drives. Removing the case...
