...Bought this remanufactured CompaqPresario 2120EA from HP Marketplace 3 years ago and never had any problems.
It is quiet and has a comfortable layout - no strain from using the keyboard or mouse pad, which has a very convenient side scroll. The screen is large and of good quality with virtually no reflection of surrounding light - excellent for watching DVDs during a long flight (battery lasts about 2.5-2h), but also good for working with two word documents side-by-side.
I frequently use several applications simultaneously, including streaming video from the internet and graphics/image processing, so I eventually needed to install an extra 512Mb RAM. The graphic card and monitor colours are excellent. The mouse pad is very sensitive and reliable even for sketches and diagrams - never used a mouse again!

The price of this laptop compares with a desktop pc. In his design you can feel the presance of Compaq wich gives us pretty memories. It is one chance that it is offered for you to have, without final price get bigger. The architecture of this laptop permit him to go in front of the performance of mobile version from intel or to permit at least to have an simmilar behavior.

Advantages: Fast, Fast, FAST!!! (Oh yeah... and easy to set up and use, too.) Disadvantages: Huh?!!? No stereo speakers?!?!
...model was definitely a much better buy. And the computer with the most "bang" – at least on paper, anyway – was the CompaqPresario 5004US. After discussing different models with the salesman for 30 minutes, and weighing my options for nearly another hour, I paid the man $1,149 and eagerly walked out with my new "screamer."
