If you like to play games,especially graphic sapping games(like Just Cause) i recommend you get yourself a new graphics card. Advantages: Fast, effective and looks great

...I recently decided to get rid of my desktop computer due to it being out of date and incredibly slow and virus ridden. I decided i'd go for a laptop instead this time as it takes up less space and is mobile. Having never had a laptop before i was cautious as to what laptop to buy. I'd never looked into it before so wasn't sure on the market. I initially thought i would buy a Sony or a laptop from Dell. I scoured the market in various different shops and came out buying this Compaq Presario. To do this day i've had no problems with it what so ever and the performance is top class, far better than my old desktop. It has a large 120GB hard drive which is more than enough for my needs. 1 GB of RAM which is divided into two 512MB ones. The screen is a 15.4" widescreen. I'd personally suggest the 3200+. They utilize Single Channel Memory. The best chipset for this would be Nforce3 250GB Athlon64 Socket 939 :- These, So far, include 3500+ 3800+ They are based on the Socket 939 platform. They have DUAL Channel Memory and 512 L2 Cache. They are rather pricey but their performance/price is better than the top-of-the-line offerings from Intel. Athlon64 FX Socket 939 :- This Just has the FX53.
