Advantages: Easy to set up and navigate around screens. Disadvantages: Not as fast as more expensive options.

At the moment I mainly use this PC for internet usage - but I have also edited video footage and worked on my website using a variety of software. I find it extremely fast and hardly never freezes on me. The windows vista OS that came with it is also very easy to understand, however, my printer has not been compatible with Vista and I havent been able to download a driver from Epson.
The tower section is large but quite light so I carried the PC up 4 flights of stairs to my flat. The keyboard is very slim and attractive in the black/silver. There is a slight hum off this computer, louder than my last one, but I usually have music on while working.
The speed to burn CD's/DVD's is also very fast and the instruction guide I recieved walked me through the set up in a short time. The software I got with this is very basic and you would probably want to buy Microsoft Office if you were using it for home business. All in all I would recommend it especially if you don't have a huge budget for a PC.
I got mine at PC World where the staff were very knowledgable, carried it to the car, and were available later on the phone when I had questions about my printer.

...Card Bay loose cable and compaq were so helpful and were able to sort the problem out in no time at all. I upgraded the RAM in the computer through compaq that cost be 25 pounds. I upgraded it from the 512 to 1gb I am pleased that I did this and I think with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system it makes this computer perfect.

I bought this machine 3 years ago and it wasn't cheap at the time. It was one of the most expensive and one of the fastest computers I have ever seen. I am still using it with no problems at all. If you have a gaming idea on your mind I would recommend you buying something else but this is a mind blowing machine with a very nice design. The memory (RAM) that came with it was pretty small but i upgraded it lately to 2 GB. It came with XP. Which is ... ...ever seen. But it got a with old school and i install the newest WINDOWS 7. it is the news system yet and it works perfectly well with it. I also played some games for example Far cry, Leaf 4 dead and GTA one,two and three. They worked very good but the GTA 3 lagged a bit. The graphic card that it came with it was pretty old now but it is OK. The chip set was more than fine. Overall I quite like and I have used a lot of computers in my life. ...
