Great PDA for the price of a calculator

Advantages A portable GPS for the price of a calculator.
Disadvantages Slow compared to the latest PDA's
Ive had my trusty IPAQ 3870, for almost 2 years now. At the time I paid £200 for it and now I see you can get them for about £40.
Its a great little machine. Its got Bluetooth, Infrared, a voice recorder, notebook, address book, calculator etc etc.
The best use that I have is as a Satellite navigation device. I hook it up in the car, connect it to a sat receiver (approx £30) and run some software called "Destinator" and it tells me where to go. Its worth its weight in Gold just for this.
The other essential use is as a contacts book, I can sync it with my PC and update from outlook or just write on the screen with its letter recognition facility.
In Summary - An outstanding PDA in its day, it has'nt got any worse, just the competition has got better.
Unbeatable for the price.....

Welcome to Ciao! I am sorry about the rating - I give very few "poor" ratings - but I found your TITLE VERY MISLEADING. I have NEVER spent over £20 for a calculator ( that was 1977 when scientific calculators were new) and usually they (calculators) are between £0.99 and £3.99 for a basic calculator ranging up to about £12 for more sophisticated versions. [I don't consider a "graph calculator" as a "calculator in the normal sense"] - Your title, and your pros and cons and first sentence are the first thing someone researching the product sees. Let me know if you make the review more helpful and I'll happily re-rate - for goodness sake make the title less misleading... ☼ ≈≈≈≈{; -)-{{:::::|||||<</html>
