Strangely, it was while driving in a random fashion round yet another set of dead-ends and wrong roads in one of Britain’s fine industrial parks, in the vain hope of stumbling across my client’s premises by sheer good fortune, that I decided the time had come to invest in a personal organiser, or PDA. Just think of all of the things you can do with a compact computer at the palm of your hands. Write documents and notes when you need to, particularly great when organising your life to put it simpler. I mean, it's far better then a diary because if you're anything like me, you probably end up misplacing your diary and I wouldn't dare think of losing my pocket PC. Why did I buy one of these? Well a colleague of mine has a newer iPaq with Sat Nav installed and I was suitably impressed. So I investigated about getting one for myself. However I was not prepared to pay £400 and upwards for the pleasure. Fortunately there was a guy at work selling one for £80 (bargain) that had hardly been used and HP were selling the NavMan GPS kits for £110 inc VAT and delivery. So Sat Nav for under £200, excellent. Obviously for this price there was a downside, the CoPilot software used for the Sat Nav was version 3.0, I believe the latest version is 5.0.
