whisk it, your guranteed there will always be some left at the bottom and throughout the drink. It also says you need to use a third of a pint of milk, well this is entirely up to you and your taste really.
So now to the taste, slightly grainy due to being unable to produce a smooth drink, but very filling. I would recommend the sweet flavours as they dont taste too bad but the the savoury ones are...how can i put it...fowl. The chicken was powdery and poor tasting, so bad that i couldnt even finish one. I would just stick to chocolate or strawberry.
If you dont like any of the above flavours you can always try the complanoriginal which you can add your own flavour too like honey or a stock cube etc.

Advantages: Full of goodness Disadvantages: Not very good taste
These do contain all the vitamins and minerals you need from a proper meal without the fat. I am underweight and supposed to have supplement drinks. I have the usual milkshake drinks, I used to be able to get Nestle Build up milkshakes on prescription from my doctor but they aren't available now. Boots dotheir own make but they are not exactly nice tasting and the only ones I can get from the doctor are Scandishakes which are ok tasting but I only like the chocolate and strawberry flavours and milkshakes get a bit boring don't they. They used to do the Build up chicken soups but they don't now and all the doctors soups are absolutely vile tasting and unedible. So thats how come I ended up trying chicken complan soup. Advantages: healthy and easy to drink Disadvantages: no vegetable soup option and can be lumpy if not mixed properly
Recently I had a nasty bout of stomach virus and I was vomitting so much it was hard to keep food down and I totally lost my appetite for about 4 weeks.
I started using complan to try and make sure I had enough vitamins and to try and put on weight which I desperately needed to do and as I was struggling to eat solids.
Complan comes in 4 flavours strawberry, chocolate, original and chicken soup. I have tried all the flavours except chicken soup. I was a bit disappointed that they did not have vegetable soup as I am a vegetarian and it would have been nice to have had a savoury complan option.
Each packet of complan is 267 cals or equivalent to a small meal. If you make it with full fat milk you can get even more cals if you are trying to put on weight. It contains a broad range of vit and minerals including vit c and b's etc ...
