Comet's misleading information

Advantages: Oven looks good and I may lose weight from not eating for another two days
Disadvantages: Misleading information on website and customer services advising that they could not be flexible

I needed a new oven and so loked as several websites - Comet advertised that they offered FREE delivery and installation on their NEFF ovens, so i purchased this item from them for this reason. I completed the order from and arrange 1 days leave from work. On delivery they informed me that they were not aware there was an installation. I called Comet Customer Sevices office and was advised that they were fully booked and I had to wait a further TWO ...

The girl did say she would refund the delivery charge I was charged (although their website stated FREE delivery) and the scappage fee £8 - great - I get £8 back for having to wait for installation 2 days and having to use 2 days leave. I ordered LCD TV from Ebuyer as it was about £30 cheaper than other RELIABLE companies. What a mistake!!!!! Another proof that you get what you pay for. Paid an extra for it to be delivered on Saturday. Possibly the worst customer service imaginable

Advantages: attractive design, and on paper the features seem good
Disadvantages: seriously horrendous customer service, a very disappointing product

...go on, but in brief, Dell has sent out 2 engineers who either didn't resolve the issue or were sent the wrong parts, another 4 times they have set up appointments for an engineer to come out and 2 of those they didn't bother to let me know that the engineer wasn't indeed coming so I waited for hours for them. After 2 1/2 months of this and now my display is turning green and pink as we speak and they still are refusing to replace my laptop with ...
...everything'! I've had a Dell laptop before and if it functions well, there are really very few problems, however, if you get a defective laptop like mine, it will take years off your life! Dabs customer service dreadful, I feel cheated.

Advantages: cheap - fast delivery
Disadvantages: poor customer service, if something is broken, they wont accept it back.

I ordered a HP pavilion laptop from Dabs, and when I received it, had a broken scriber / pen holder, with parts rattling around inside the laptop. When contacting Dabs about this, they anoyingly do not hacve a phone service and have to contacted via dabs live assistance or via email. Via email they were exteremly slow to reply.
