Never buy Comet insurance! Left 2 months without a machine!!

Advantages: None!
Disadvantages: They simply don't care!

Never ever ever buy Comet extended warranties!! Domestic and General are the company and niether take responsibility! We have had them out 5 times in a row!!!!!! 3 times they came with the wrong part!!!!!!! 5 time they fixed it but did not text the repair leaving us with washing stuck in the machine for 6 days as they refused to come back instead booking another appointment!!! No aplogies no compensation, no excalation process!! NEVER buy an extended ...
...for engineers than machine ever cost! We are still without a machine after 6 weeks!!!!! We have even pointed out my wife is home alone with a 1yr old baby as I am away and they simply told us there ws not point registering a complaint as it may be fixed by the time they get round to assigning someone to investigating it! ...

Dell won't help you with your purchase if you ring up or chat on line, before they know what you want to buy.. then when you say just a monitor (one costing over £300 btw) they say "just a monitor???????" and you say yes and they say they can't help you!!!!! I ordered a piece of wireless networking equipment from this company and it was reciced with no issues. Upon inspection I received that I had ordered the wrong device as this was only an access point and not wireless modem/router. I requested that it be returned using their automated service but I didn't get it sent back in time, so they cancelled my request for return, I believe this was after 30 days. Dabs customer service dreadful, I feel cheated.

Advantages: cheap - fast delivery
Disadvantages: poor customer service, if something is broken, they wont accept it back.

I ordered a HP pavilion laptop from Dabs, and when I received it, had a broken scriber / pen holder, with parts rattling around inside the laptop. When contacting Dabs about this, they anoyingly do not hacve a phone service and have to contacted via dabs live assistance or via email. Via email they were exteremly slow to reply.
