...to show me on a computer that was connected to their router. He tried to initiate a connection twice from scratch, unsuccessfully, before going in through a saved configuration. I’ll let you make your own decision on his extensive experience! The rest of the morning went well and the instructor was able to solve most people’s problems. The course would have been a lot better if he’d been available at all times. We were asked who wanted to take the ......asked if he could show us what we actually got for passing the exam, i.e. a genuine Cisco certificate or something. He showed me a Microsoft qualified card and said the Cisco one was similar. I wonder if he was even qualified! We finished reading through the book just in time for the student to take his exam. ...year, I joined the MSc Computing postgraduate conversion course at Northumbria University. This was supposed to be for non IT graduates, except that I found that 90% of students already had BSc's in Computer Science! Basically, money talks! Several others also opted for this or failed completely. ... Read review

...not appropriate, not only is multimedia virtually non-existent (2 units out of the 30 I have done so far) but the computing is fairly lacking too (5 units out of the 30) all the other units are business based, mind numbingly boring and in my opinion are not worth doing or even relevant for the course. For example the latest unit I have completed on my "Multimedia Computing" course is Applied professionalism and management, which was centred on business ......interested in Multimedia and computing, discount this course immediately and go to a different University, if your into computing for business - then this will suit you - mind you'll not learn anything to do with computing. If there was a zero star available, I would have chosen this. ... Read review
