Conceptronic Grab'n'GO Media adapter to TV

Advantages: "Free" TV from the other side of the world... where-ever you are!
Disadvantages: Really none I can think of that concern the device itself

...pictures in the install guide (which you can get of SlingMedia's website, and I suggest you look at all their documentation if you are thinking of purchasing this device). Plug an Aerial cable between the TV Aerial socket from the wall (or a 2-way splitter, if the socket is already being used for a TV feed), and the SlingBox. Plug an Ethernet cable between the Router and the SlingBox. Plug the SlingBox power adapter into the SlingBox and an electric socket. After this last instruction, the following should happen... * The router should light up the port light that the now powered-up SlingBox is attached to (assuming your router has port indicator lights) * The "n" on the front of the SlingBox should be lit in red LEDs * Two green LEDs on the front of the SlingBox should be lit: One indicates power, the other, network... Advantages: Stream all your media files to your tv
Disadvantages: Server software is a bit flaky

...about £100...I got a bargain!! Granted, it's reaonably new technology and not without it's teething troubles, but this is the future...all kinds of media being streamed from one place in the house to the main Entertainment setup. Go now, Go watch some tv...... Read review

Advantages: Picture quality, nice shape and size for bedroom, HD Ready, Freeview built in, etc etc!
Disadvantages: Small text on menu screens, EPG not brilliant, only 1 HDMI port, no subtitle button

...a timer record for it, which is used if you have a SmartLink compatible device connected to the TV (see below). - Picture Quality - The first thing that really hit me with this TV was the picture quality. I really can't fault it at all, I know LCD is better than CRT, which, co-incidentally is what my previous TV was but all the same, I feel that this TV offers superior picture quality and this is something that I've noticed every review on this TV has mentioned, so im not alone in feeling this way. I've played DVDs on my DVD player, watched cable on my Virgin Media set top box and watched recordings from my hard disk recorder on this TV, as well as watching the odd VHS videos on my old VCR, all the devices work with it fine and the picture quality has been about as good as you can ask for really.
