Take That - The Circus Live Tour 2009- Wembley Stadium
Review of Take That - The Circus Live Tour 2009 by Peapod40

Advantages: The show of a lifetime!
Disadvantages: Long queues to get out of the building to the station. Drinks expensive in the stadium.

...was lucky enough to see Take That at Wembley stadium. This is my third time of seeing 'the boys' but it was definitely the best show I have ever seen them perform. At Earls Court many years ago and at the O2 for their comeback tour they were brilliant, but this tour is absolutely out of this world. Even the most anti Take That person (if they exist!) could not fail to be wowed by this dazzling circus show complete with trapeze artists, high wire ...
...when she tours herself. Take That look better than ever; fitter and happier than ever before and they are all so handsome I wouldn't know who to choose first - although I suspect Gary might just pip the others at the post if he asked me nicely :-). I defy anyone to say it wasn't a fantastic show and would recommend it to everybody. No wonder the media are calling it 'the best concert of all time' - it truly was. ... Read review

Take That Gary Barlow et al
Review of Robbie Williams - Sing While You're Winning Concert by maryhutton

Advantages: Seeing the Robster in full flow - unmissable
Disadvantages: Having to restrict fluids to avoid the treck to the horrid loos

...faces stencilled with I love Robbie make up, for £1 (party pooper) and we made our way in. We spread out our black bin liners and sank onto rock hard ground, about forty rows of people back from the stage. So far so good. Then the waiting began. Giant video screens were playing current chart stuff and some classics, so the first hour passed pleasantly. By 3.30, the venue was just about full and the half hourly surges began. This consisted of being ...
...'But there is only one Robbie Williams. Oh yes!!! And then there he was, just a man, and a fairly small one at that, from 50 rows back, but how he filled that stage. All our aching feet disappeared as we jumped and shouted our way through the next two and a half dilirious hours. Robbie sure can work a crowd and makes full use of the video screens, at times looking as if he is gazing directly at you (most disconcerting!!!). He looked very fit and ... Read review

Will Young - Keep On Live Tour 2006
Review of Will Young Live Concert by cherwaite

Advantages: Great Voice, Sexy Dance Routines, Long set
Disadvantages: Expensive Merchandising, Huge Queues everywhere!

...my boyfriend to go see Will Young at the Sheffield Hallam FM Arena on the 19th September. Who is he and why did I want to go? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Will Young came about in the UK from the popular reality tv programme, Pop Idol in 2002. Week in week out people voted for their favourite singer from a group of 12 men and women. These had been whittled down from around 30'000 auditionees. From the beginning of the live ...
...fluster! I was a dedicated Will Fan and voted week in week out, culminating in a Will Party with my friends on the night of the live finale show. It was a close run contest with Will pipping Gareth Gates (remember him?!) to the title of Pop Idol with an astonishing 4.6 million votes cast for him. He quickly brought out his first album and single 'Evergreen' which sold 1,108,659 copies in its first week, becoming one of the UKs best selling debut ... Read review

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - CARDIFF 2004
Review of Red Hot Chili Peppers UK shows 2004 by jonessm

Advantages: very good location
Disadvantages: to crowded in the standing area

the red hot chili pepper gig was held on the 23rd June in cardiff millenium stadium, this was a supereb gig but had its faults, the band Chicks On Speed wasnt the best of all support bands , with abuse being thrown at them in in hydepark they played at a cardiff and recieved the same, this band was not good at all with a song called ' we dont play guitar ' and which had some over sized women running around with an air guitar many people werent happy ...
...great show loud music and beautiful women dancing . the red hot chili peppers were outstanding playing all the greatest hits including , under the bridge, by the way and the zephyr song the red hot chili peppers made it an exciting show and well worth the entire £35.00 ... Read review

The Timberlake Has Landed
Review of Justin Timberlake Justified Tour by BabyLaura

Advantages: Seeing my idol, perfect in every way
Disadvantages: It ended!

...then - I have loved Justin Timberlake since forever. I am not one of those jump on the bandwagon types - I AM the bandwagon! Mr. Timberlake first caught my attention (and heart) way back in '98 or '99 when *N'SYNC first released 'I Want You Back' and 'Tearin' Up My Heart' - I was gripped. So, now, May 14th, 2003, I walked into Wembley Arena, London and felt the happiest...ever. I was seated in Block A4, row 11, seat 40, which was only about ten metres ...
...and best friend bought a Justin t-shirt for £15.00 each. We went to the concert for a deal which cost £50.00 each. A coach took us there and back, got us the tickets and made sure we were all okay - I used the same company when I saw Christina Aguilera later on in the year. But otherwise, the ticket would have been £27.50, which is actually quite cheap considering some are normally £30.00 and Madonna's are like £300! The opening acts were British ... Read review
