Condemned 2: Bloodshot, the sequel to the Xbox 360 launch title Condemned throws players back into the chilling yet action packed environment that they have come to love.

Story
Following on from the events of the first title, Condemned 2 places players into darker and more chilling scenes than ever before as they retake the role of a slightly darker Ethan Thomas. New players to the series will easily be able to take hold of the plot thanks to the immersive and detailed cutscenes.
Utilizing the Lithtech Jupiter EX engine, Condemned 2 provides gamers with a fresh experience from similar titles based on Quake and Unreal engines. With excellent texture and lighting rendering, the engine only enhances gameplay with it's brutal Close Quarters Combat scheme where your fists become your greatest weapons. With a massive array weaponry available for combat use from your environment, you can always be assured combat will be different whether you be wielding a mere plank of wood or a fully loaded shotgun.
Condemned 2's dark and chilling storyline plus brilliant engine gives a refreshing change for gamers from usual first person titles.
Multiplayer
Though not included in the first title, Condemned 2 includes some multiplayer game modes set in a few choice locations you'll notice from the story. The multiplayer functions are OK at best and you'll likely feel the gameplay is lacking from the same brutality as the story with players seeming a bit static.
Though this type of gameplay may be suited more to some players more than others, don't be expecting first person online action comparable to Call of Duty when you buy the title.
Overall, this is an outstanding game. It fills a lacking void of games that can really make you shiver. Story mode is perfectly textured and the unique engine makes gameplay fresh and exciting. Multiplayer functions aren't the best they could be but may be to some people's liking.
Since this game can be picked up for a good deal these days, its certainly worth the purchase for the story mode alone.
Advantages: Melee Combat, Story Disadvantages: Too Scary for some.
The original condemned was designed to creep you out. It managed to put you into Depressive environments and have you worrying about the dark path ahead. It was a launch game for the xbox360 and really created its own horror genre. Now the sequel Condemned 2: Bloodshot is here just waiting in stores to freak you out even more.
Bloodshot carries on directly were the first condemned ended. The main character Ethan Thomas is a forensic investigator ... ...the enemy exactly is.
Condemned 2 has eleven missions with plenty of save points along the way, the level design is linear but when your in the pitch black surrounded by creepy noises, the linear path is very welcome.
The online multiplayer is also unique and fun. One gamemode requires one team to hide evidence and a second team to hunt the evidence down using specialist tools. Condemned2 certainly has more mileage than the first.
The combat is ...

Advantages: Improved Graphics, Continues story from previous game Disadvantages: Characters are different, Forensic tasks can become tedious at times
I bought this game after I completed the first condemned, and I must say it continues the story from the first one brilliantly, questions that remain unanswered in the first get answered in this sequel.
One thing that you will notice though is that the characters are completely different in this one, Ethan Thomas is now some homeless guy who looks nothing like the Ethan Thomas from the SCU from the first condemned. Also your trusty partnet Rosa ... ...long hair.
But to the main bit... The gameplay is absolutely amazing in my opinion, the way you can control both hands seperatly for figths, the way you can pick up almost anything and the way you can rip thing sfrom the environment and use them as your weapon.
Graphics are good too, a big improvement from the first condemned.
There is also a bit more added violence for the lovers of gore, head scan be blown off and there is a lot more blood to ...
