Connect four has been going for years and is a game of strategy for two players. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Game ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The actual game consists of a vertical board made from blue plastic, which has six slots running down through the centre of it where the counters can be dropped. The board has 42 circular holes in it where you can see the counters that have been dropped in through the top. To keep the board standing up there are two blue plastic legs which can be slotted on to each side of the board. Some versions of the game have the legs already attached. ...Sheila O'Flanagan is a popular Irish writer who has written a lot of popular novels. Her novels are normally one long continuous story. 'Connections' is different as it is a collection of stories, all based around a hotel - 'White Sands' - in the Carribean. There are 12 chapters in the book and each chapter has a heading of a name and room number. Chapter one begins with Corinne, who's in room 404 and is a crime-writer. She is on a working holiday, trying to get inspiration for her next novel, but is having a case of writer's block. Advantages: great classic game
Disadvantages: boring after a while

...This is the classic counter game for two players, the aim of the game is for those players to compete against each other taking it in turns to try to be the first to connect four counters together. Players take it in turns to use the yellow and red counters and placing them into the grid to form a straight line of four in a row, vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Who ever gets the four in a row wins the game. Each player takes it in turns and needs to think strategically as to where to put there next counter to help them to get four in a row, but to also think about if they need to block their opponent to stop them from winning the game. The game is simple but is great as it does not require hours to set up and a game can be as quick or as long as you want it to be. There are also not a long list of rules to be able to play...
