Overated fight pad Advantages: Feels more comfortable than original controller and has a turbo feature Disadvantages: D-pad is still not improved Ok so I have not long recieved this from ebay and because of all the hype from these controllers being sold out they have now increased in price on the secondary marker. I managed to get one for £50 which I thought was a good deal until I used it. The reason why I purchased this was so that it can replace my normal xbox controller as the D-pad sucks for fighting games. As soon as I recieved this I tried it on Street Fighter 4 straight away and to ... ...original controller. The D-pad on the control is similar to the sega saturn one but only worst. Its hard to pull out the moves on this control as when you need to input specific commands the D-pad feels loose and is all one big button and you find yourself doing a dragon punch instead of a hadouken. Whilst it does look great and varies in different style as there is a Ryu, Ken, Chunli, blanka and a rare Akuma. Madcatz Control Pad Advantages: Cheap, Responsive Triggers Disadvantages: Analogues Loose, Not as Hard Wearing as the Microsoft Originals. ...for most games. The Madcatz Microcon controller for precision gaming and have this as a spare but its still stood the test of time. In the past when you purchased a cheap third party controller for your PS2 or even PS1 it died within weeks everytime but Madcaz have appeared to have worked on this and produced something a bit more robust. Both my Microsoft controllers anologues got slightly right after 2 years and 6 months in the Madcatz is still ... ...also suffered the same fate as my originals). If you are looking for a cheap alternative to the Microsoft controller for ocassional used I would have no problem recommending this controller whereas if you need a controller to stand hard use stick to the originals. This Small Wheel Is A Big Deal Advantages: Looks great, Great grip, Very responsive, Cheap Disadvantages: Quite small, Can become uncomfortable if rested on knees ...----------------- CONCLUSION ----------------- The MadCatz MC2 wheel is a fantastic piece of kit for the price you pay and should definitely be considered a purchase for those of you that have never used a racing wheel before and can't afford the (much) more expensive wheels on the market. Madcatz xbox controller Advantages: Good gameplay vibrations Disadvantages: Comfort I bought two of these game pads before this year and they were working fine until now. They arent very comfortable over a period of time .But apart from that there arent any other problems. The gameplay is great the game pad also has vibrations like the original xbox controller.
