Don't chuk it out the window or through the TV! Advantages: Cheap price if you need to buy one, one comes free with the console. Disadvantages: None The Wii Nunchuk controller is used with the Wii console, both produced by Nintendo. The Nunchuk is used by plugging it in to the bottom of the Wii Remote (see my reviews for a review on this too!), it's very simply to use and very simple in design. It is designed to be held in one hand and is suitable for use in many different games (you will be prompted by the Wii when you need to plug it in or when it's no longer required. There are three buttons ... ...these are used for playing in a variety of games from being a shooter to being a boxer. If you use this for boxing it will help you to weave and block yourself as well as help you throw punches. In a first person shooter style game you may well use the joystick for moving your character and the C & Z button to shoot your gun & aim. Wii motion Plus. not really needed? Advantages: people go "wow" when they hear you have one. Disadvantages: Does not help as you would expect. ...I always found the original Wii remote ok for games. I can't see why games system manufacturers keep making things "better" after we have bought the original. Anyway. it can be tricky useing a Wii remote and although the motion plus does make it more responsive at times it can be too much. when you want to be very accurate and the slightest twitch sends the little pointing finger shooting off the screen. Not what I would call value for money then. ... ...goes in to the main wii remote is very wobbily, i took mine back to the shop to complain but I was told this in normal. It will come with a new rubber case for it as it not fit in your original one. However if you also own a wii remote docking station for charging the batteries then you will have to remove the case and the Motion Plus every time you want to charge them. 480p HD for Wii. Advantages: The best picture quality you can get from your Wii. Disadvantages: It's only 480p. The Nintendo Wii Component Video Cable allows you to display your Wii games in 480p high definition if you have a HDTV. This is not as good as 720p, 1080i or 1080p that you can get on a PS3 or XBox 360 but it is the best picture quality you can get from your Wii and you will notice the improvement. Good. Better. BEST! Advantages: Very Useful In Many Games Disadvantages: Not Good In Some Games Amazing? Good? Fine? I would say this controller is a very good choice for any Wii owner. The Wii console has a various amount of games meaning that this product will be perfect for some specific games. If you enjoy the old arcade styled platform games, this is the controller for you! An essential buy for any Wii owner. Advantages: Better picture quality, easy to install Disadvantages: Expensive, not supported by all TVs As I have a TV that doesn't support Component Cables, I decided to splash out on Nintendo's RGB cable to see if I could get improved visuals on my Wii. The cable is very simple to install, as it plugs into the same slot on the Wii as the standard cables, and into the SCART socket on the back of your TV. As soon as I loaded up my Wii I could immediately see the difference. Everything was brighter and clearer than before - the various channel icons ... ...colourful, and everything seemed much sharper and more prominent, especially noticeable when looking at on screen text. I realised, however, that the new visuals would be worthless if they weren't noticeable in the games, so next I decided to load up some of my games and see if they had improved too.
