Disadvantages: Not so good as an MP3 player as a little bulky.

This is an ideal portable console/MP3 Player and MP4 Player for all. Since having the PSP I no longer find myself bored whilst on the train to work. I generally use it for gaming and watching movies. The gameplay/graphics are awesome for such a small device. ...have a large enough memory card, you can load MP4 files and watch movies on the go with the PSP. I don't really use the PSP as an MP3 player as it's a little too bulky for the pocket. If you have an HD TV I recommend you upgrading the connecting wire to a component cable as this improves the picture quality no end. I can't recommend this console enough. I recently sold my XBox 360 as I desprately wanted to try a PS3. Having owned the previous Playstations I was not disappointed with my purchase. I was also looking for a Bluray player which at the time cost more than the PS3. This made my purchase even more worthwhile.
