Nintendo Wii
Review of Nintendo Wii by
MattUtd
Advantages: Gameplay, Wi-Fi
Disadvantages: Graphics
I got my Wii as part of a free mobile phone upgrade as it wasn't my intention to buy one as I already own a PS3. However, I wich I had bought one earlier. Let's be honest, the graphics aren't a comparison to the PS3 or XBox360 but the gameplay on the Wii is very addictive. So much so, the Mrs also plays on it and she's never played on the PS3.
The Wii can also produce HD quality pictures which is within the Wii option menu. Since owning the Wii ... ...great addition to the Wii console. I find the gameplay and general addictiveness with the Wii outshines the PS3 and XBox360. If you have an HD TV I recommend you upgrading the connecting wire to a component cable as this improves the picture quality no end.
I can't recommend this console enough. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't give up my PS3 but the Wii is a good addition and playable by all. ...

Sony Playstaion 3
Review of Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) by
MattUtd
Advantages: Built-in Bluray Player, Wireless Remotes as Standard, Quiter than XBox 360.
Disadvantages: Are there any? Don't think so.
I recently sold my XBox 360 as I desprately wanted to try a PS3. Having owned the previous Playstations I was not disappointed with my purchase. I was also looking for a Bluray player which at the time cost more than the PS3. This made my purchase even more worthwhile.
My initial thoughts was that the PS3 is bigger than the XBox 360 but a lot more quiter. In fact, you barely know it's on. A bought the basic 40GB pack which I find more than sufficient. ... ...XBox 360 include:
* Free Wireless Controllers as standard
* Bluray Player Built-in. Cheaper than buying a stand alone player
* Free online gaming compared to Microsoft's monthly/annual subscriptions
* Built-in Hard-Drive
* Nicer looking machince
* Ability to switch console off as opposed to stand-by mode feature on XBox360 (Thinking of your carbon-footprint)
As for the gaming capability, I can't really tell the difference between the 2 but ...

all round good console
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 by
luke.1234
Advantages: good graphics
Disadvantages: noise it makes
This is a great product with many features to play around with and many many games to please any type of gamer. With owning one of these products myself i know how great and amazing they can be but also know about some of their downfalls.First of all this console is great for all ages and the online play is spectacular but at the end of the day you have to pay for more such as a wireless adapter and xbox live and you will also have to payout for ... ...these things included for free. And i think that the last error is the noise. But as i read on wikipedia before buying mine the console is more reliable and less likely to break down if it came out afer july 07 because they would have been fitted with a new falcon chip.So my advice is if yo are going to get one always look at the date it came out at ...

Playstation 2
Review of Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) by
pornostar4
Advantages: The graphics, game ranges and ease of use
Disadvantages: the lenses have been known to go or won't play discs
I have owned my playstation 2 for 5 years now and it has never let me down! The graphics are great, the range of games are good although they are becoming scarce now due to the PS3 release. The control pads are easy to use and the console is easy to operate.
I would say these consoles are suitable from age 3+ as you many games are for that age range.
You are also able to connect to the internet and play online with others which is brilliant especially ...

A great console, a great price
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Arcade by
shamis4
Advantages: Great console with all perks of normal console and 5 free games
Disadvantages: None
...to your computer (thanks to microsoft making a large majority of the world's computers) and access a lot of it's content.
However it is in the online features where the xbox 360 truly shows its potential as being a great console. The xbox live system is great and every owner of an xbox is entitled to a free silver membership in which you can download games, music, videos, wallpapers, pictures (i could go on for a while) from the marketplace. Although ... ...you can use microsoft points to buy these. of course there is still a lot of free stuff available and lots of demos of most new games.
You can also purchase a gold membership for only about £30 - £40 and access all the above as well as being able to play for unlimited time onlin on games such as Call Of Duty 4 (probably my favourite game).
The xbox 360 is also a very attractive console ad looks quite sleek and stylish - fits very nicely next to ...
