comfortable lenses with minimum fuss

Advantages: No need to take them out to clean or worry about leaving in too long
Disadvantages: expensive, more aftercare needed

I have worn normal monthly disposable contact lenses before but got sick of having to take them out and clean them every night. Also with most you're really only supposed to wear them for 5days a week and upto about 12hours a day which means swapping between contacts and glasses which has always made me feel dizzy as my eyes have to adjust to focusing differently. Eventually I gave up and went back to glasses but with a prescription of -7.25, the ...
...and lighter ones. I read about the new contact lenses that could be worn continuously for 30days and thought they sounded just what I needed. I was (and still am) a little bit worried about the increased risk of infections with these types of lenses but providing you get regular checks and take out the lenses if they start to become uncomfortable, then hopefully there shouldn't be any problems. They also sounded good as I'm pregnant and when baby ...

I Can Seeeeee You

Advantages: Comfortable, risk of infection is low
Disadvantages: Can shrivel up in excessive heat

I’ve been using Johnson & Johnson Acuvue disposable contact lenses for about 10 years now. I use the ones which are changed every fortnight but you can also get lenses which are changed every day or every month. I like to wear contacts as it lets me take part in physical activities and play with my kids without worrying about my specs. I also feel, when I’m wearing glasses, as if I have to turn my head to view something rather than just ...
...If you’ve never worn contacts before, you will undoubtedly find it a bit odd at first. I’ve heard some people describe it as similar to having an eyelash in your eye but, from memory, it wasn’t that bad for me. The thing I did have trouble with was getting them in and out, but after a few weeks I got into the routine. The trick for me is to drop a little solution into my eye before I pop the lens in. Once you get used to them, ...

Through the looking glass.... or lens!!

Advantages: Comfortable, available in 10 different colours
Disadvantages: Fragile, can be difficult to tell which was round they go

...They are made by Johnson and Johnson so should be available worldwide. Unfortunately I am only able to compare these lenses with one other pair. I had an eye infection a couple of months ago and was advised to wear daily disposable for a week. The daily disposables felt thicker and were actually larger than the weekly disposables although to be honest I still found them to be as comfortable. If you are looking for a lens that suits your lifestyle, ...

I can see clearly now

Advantages: Wear for 2 weeks then replace so always feel like they are new
Disadvantages: None that i can think of

The Johnson & Johnson Acuvue Advance are the best disposible contact lenses that i have tried, (and i've tried a quite a few). They come in a blue and white little box with a contact lens plunging into water on the front cover with the words Acuvue Advance with Hydraclear written on it. There are 6 individual lenses all of the same prescription inside, each wrapped seperatley in its own little plastic case with a bump in the bottom of it that the ...
...solution to keep the lens clean and sterile prior to being opened. There is a foil style top which you need to carefully pull back to open it. The lens is clear and feels and looks a bit like a thick clingfilm for want of a better description. They feel very comfortable to wear as i don't even realise that i have them in and have sometimes gone to bed in them without realising, this doesn't appear to have a negative effect on them. It is recommended ...

Great contacts!

Advantages: All day comfort!
Disadvantages: Price

I have worn these for around a month now and I promise you that if you start wearing these you won't feel them at all. These are so easy to put on in the morning and can easily be left on until 10 at night because unlike many other brands they don't dry your eyes out. On my 1st day I only realised that I had them in for around ten minutes and since then it was like I have had perfect vision throughout my life. The contacts come in blister packs which ...
...easy to store away in a pocket or handbag so in the case you do lose a contact it is easy to fit another one back in. The only downside is probably the price with the cheapest I could find being 180 lenses for £50.80 which would cost 59p a day (assuming you wear 2 lenses/1 pair per day). Overall these are probably the best contact lenses on the market so have no hesitation in change your brand to see much more clearer! ...
