Comfort for the Eyes

Advantages: Very comfy, don't dry your eyes out
Disadvantages: None really

I've been wearing these contact lenses for over two years now. I suffered with many problems with other types of lenses, such as dry, tired & itchy eyes. My optician recommended these at the time because I was wearing my lenses for 12-14 hours a day and also staring at a computer screen for 8 hours a day at work. Acuvue Moist make wearing lenses a pleasure!

Advantages: Reduce dryness and feel more comfortable for longer
Disadvantages: Very thin, so can be tricky to insert, bit pricey.

Review of Acuvue 1-DAY MOIST Contact Lenses

No Hassles Lenses

Advantages: Fast and Easy to put in, no need to clean, toss them out when finished
Disadvantages: Lose some moisture when wearing for long periods

I tried these contact lenses a couple of months ago and was very pleased. They were quick and easy to pop in, and i didn't have to waste time with contact solution and cleaning them because they were already clean, moist and ready to go. I'm not sure if it's the fact that i wore them for too long, but by the end of my night i found them to be slightly dry. My regular contacts do that as well so i'm not sure if it's just me or the lenses. Other than ...

Advantages: Disposable, throw away at end of the day, minimum care
Disadvantages: More expensive

I got a months supply for £70 which works out at about £2.30 per pair and since I don't wear them everyday it suits me. If I did wear them daily then I think a monthly disposable lens would be cheaper. Acuvue are made by Johnson and Johnson which are a very trustworthy brand. Great contacts!

Advantages: All day comfort!
Disadvantages: Price

I have worn these for around a month now and I promise you that if you start wearing these you won't feel them at all. These are so easy to put on in the morning and can easily be left on until 10 at night because unlike many other brands they don't dry your eyes out. ...easy to store away in a pocket or handbag so in the case you do lose a contact it is easy to fit another one back in. The only downside is probably the price with the cheapest I could find being 180 lenses for £50.80 which would cost 59p a day (assuming you wear 2 lenses/1 pair per day). Overall these are probably the best contact lenses on the market so have no hesitation in change your brand to see much more clearer! ...
