Great contacts!

Advantages: All day comfort!
Disadvantages: Price

I have worn these for around a month now and I promise you that if you start wearing these you won't feel them at all. These are so easy to put on in the morning and can easily be left on until 10 at night because unlike many other brands they don't dry your eyes out. On my 1st day I only realised that I had them in for around ten minutes and since then it was like I have had perfect vision throughout my life. The contacts come in blister packs which ...
...easy to store away in a pocket or handbag so in the case you do lose a contact it is easy to fit another one back in. The only downside is probably the price with the cheapest I could find being 180 lenses for £50.80 which would cost 59p a day (assuming you wear 2 lenses/1 pair per day). Overall these are probably the best contact lenses on the market so have no hesitation in change your brand to see much more clearer! ...

Jeepers creepers - these are great for the peepers

Advantages: Very comfortable, requires no cleaning, new pair every day, hassle free
Disadvantages: Expensive compared to other makes

...The dailies I used were Focus and were supplied by Specsavers, my optician. ****What are they**** As its name suggests the Focus dailies are contact lenses that are designed to be worn for one day only. You open the packet, put them in and then at the end of the day pull them out and throw them away. It really is that simple. You don't need to clean them, which is a chore in its self, meaning there is no locating the lenses case, no filling it up ...
...other daily lenses before the Focus variant and I can honestly say that these are the best, since they seem to be the ideal shape and size for my eye. I appreciate that everyone is different and whilst these lenses are great for me they may not suit everyone and could be quite painful. Prior to getting these dailies I went to my optician and tried other variants (mainly cheaper ones because they were going to be for holiday use only) but these weren't ...

Focus Monthly Contact Lenses

Advantages: Value for money if used wisely
Disadvantages: If not rinsed well or left in too long can cause discomfort

...Contact lenses eradicated this problem! Focus monthly's were the first brand of lenses I ever tried…not too expensive so as a student I could comfortably afford them. I must admit these lenses were quite comfortable…at first but due to the necessity of having to re-use and re-use them they had a tendency to fray round the edges, dry out and slightly deteriorate. If they hadn't been sterilised properly overnight and stored in the correct solution ...
...the following morning. Focus monthly's are a product of Ciba Vision and retail at most opticians for about ten pounds a month (can be purchased in three month batches if more appropriate for the consumer) although prices can vary depending where bought and can be found at discounted prices on various optical websites. You will need to know the correct strength of lenses required if you intend to purchase online and check the diameter of the lenses ...

comfortable lenses with minimum fuss

Advantages: No need to take them out to clean or worry about leaving in too long
Disadvantages: expensive, more aftercare needed

I have worn normal monthly disposable contact lenses before but got sick of having to take them out and clean them every night. Also with most you're really only supposed to wear them for 5days a week and upto about 12hours a day which means swapping between contacts and glasses which has always made me feel dizzy as my eyes have to adjust to focusing differently. Eventually I gave up and went back to glasses but with a prescription of -7.25, the ...
...and lighter ones. I read about the new contact lenses that could be worn continuously for 30days and thought they sounded just what I needed. I was (and still am) a little bit worried about the increased risk of infections with these types of lenses but providing you get regular checks and take out the lenses if they start to become uncomfortable, then hopefully there shouldn't be any problems. They also sounded good as I'm pregnant and when baby ...

Focus Dailies contact lenses-NO MORE GLASSES!!

Advantages: hygenic, easy to handle, can see without glasses!
Disadvantages: may be too pricey fro some people, remebering to take them out!

I had been wearing glasses for my short sightedness since I was 12 years old, for my 15th Birthday my mum took me to the optitions so I could try contact lenses for the first time. I was reccomended daily disposable ones and given a trial on Focus Dailies-I am 21 and have been using them ever since! I find them so easy to use, they are each in an individual blister pack, so if you are going away for the weekend you just rip off how many you need ...
...etc. Also its easy to keep a spare pair in your bag 'just in case' as they take up so little room! They are really hygenic lenses as you have a fresh pair everyday! You just need to make sure your hands are clean before you put them in and when you take them out. Easy! I find them very comfortable to wear, but do carry a bottle of wetting drops (same size as a small bottle of eye drops) with me. This is becasue I find they can get a little dry ...
