Java Aria PUshchair

Advantages: Good as a travel system
Disadvantages: Not great as a pushchair

~*~*~INTRODUCTION~*~*~ My husband and I had been married a month when we found out I was expecting. We were over the moon but realised it didn't really give us chance to save. We decided early that we would opt for a travel system as it would save buying a car seat and a pram. We looked around Mothercare and Babies'r'us at all the different options, the prices still seemed quite high so we looked at the old faithful, the Argos catalogue. We saw the Mamas and Papas Aria, it came as a pushchair on its own for £99.99, or along with the Primo Viaggio and Mamas and Papas accessories for £129.99. We decided to go for it as a package, again saving money. ~*~*~FEATURES~*~*~ -Suitable from birth to 3 years. -Floating 5 point harness, allowing the child to move around. This is fine for a toddler, but not so much ...

Mamas & Papas Aria

Advantages: Light weight, compact
Disadvantages: didnt like the harness

I am a self confessed pramaholic - but i have to say that this is one of my favourites!! It is lightweight and folds so compactly! It is great for small boots of public trasport. The shopping basket is HUGE! You can get loads in! The seat itself is nice and spacious and most importantly comfortable! The accessories that you can get are also great! Mamas and Papas are a well known brand and the aria is a great addition! When you first get it, it does take a bit of putting together - although this is only putting the wheels on! These can be taken off again if need be by squeezing the underneath of them (I sold one of the 2 that I had and got it back in the original box with the wheels successfully removed!) I love the fact that you can get a car seat attached to it, making a great lightweight travel system. The recline ...

Contax G2 by Mark Packer

Advantages: Lenses, Build, Feel
Disadvantages: Viewfinder, Flash, Auto focus, noise

I was excited about this camera. I wanted a light system that I could take anywere and I had read many good things about the lenses and build quality. I sold by Nikon N90s and most of my lenses to buy the G2 with 45mm and flash. I also purchased the 28mm and the 90mm and got a $700 rebate from Contax. Great deal! I wanted to love this camera- I really did. And there was much to love- superb lenses. fantistic build, great feel. But after using it for about two years, there were two things I could not get used to. The viewfinder was terrible- small and dark. I expected more for a camera the size of the G2- perhaps the view similar to a Leica M. It was more like the view that a point and shoot would have. The second problem was the flash. I was used to the wonerful fill flash Nikon produces, so the limits of the TLA 200 were ...
