Continental ContiSportContact 2 Tire

I replaced the original manufacturer fit Bridgestones (Potenza RE040), which I felt were poor, with these Continentals. The car to which they are fitted is an Audi A4 Avant (1.9 DTI 130) and they are the standard 205/55 R 16 W size for that model, on the standard Audi 16" alloys.

These Continentals are asymmetric but non-directional, which does have the advantage that you do not have to take heed of the direction of rotation - useful if you need to fit the spare. The original Bridgestones were directional, and inevitably the puncture I had was on the wrong side to the rotational direction of the spare, so I was keen that their eventual replacements would be non-directional.
