This is a very stylish bit of kit from Baumatic. It was easy to install, and the flue extender should accommodate most ceiling heights. Our kitchen guy even commented that this is one of the more straightforward installs he has had to do, even when we requested it be set against the stainless steel splashback we had bought. The door fell off my Rangemaster!

Advantages: Capacious ovens
Disadvantages: Strange extra shelves and dangerous doors

...because the slim oven door fell off its hinges when the oven was on! Deeply concerning. To give them their due, Rangemaster were very apologetic about this and it was fixed promptly, but this is really unacceptable. So yes, a good cooker, but not without issues to my mind! ...

What's the point of it?

Advantages: Looks nice
Disadvantages: Very very noisy and doesn't extract steam

...it's stainless steel!) Rang Baumatic and they told me that their hoods are only made to extract odours, not steam. Checked the hand book, yep, that's exactly what it says. Total waste of money, as I expected any cooker hood designed to go over a hob would extract steam from pans, otherwise what's the point? ...
