Great looking cooker and really easy to use
Advantages: slow cook feature, half grill option, stay clean liners and interior light in oven Disadvantages: Grill can be a bit slow to warm up
The cremic top has four hobs and visual lights to indicate which hobs are in use and stay lit until the hobs are cool enough to touch. One hob has Solarglo Dual zone which allows it to be used as a full burner or just the inner burner for smaller pans. It has LED display, clock, electronic timer and slow cook feature.
The grill has an option to use the full grill or half grill. This is also a conventional oven.
The main oven is fan assisted, has ...

An expensive load of trouble
Advantages: None unless you like phoning the service department Disadvantages: This cooker has quality assurance issues
...have now been returned to Cannon as being not fit for purpose.
Both suffered from identical faults. The top oven took 45 minutes to get to a stable temperature which was 50deg F below the set temperature. Food was burned at the back and uncooked at the front. On the first the cooling fan failed to function until it unjammed itself, noisey on both cookers. The shut off flap for the top oven on both failed to operate. A known fault on this (Chestergate) ...

Well worth the money
Advantages: Looks, quality, excellent to cook with Disadvantages: For me none
I bought this cooker after having to have a another branded cooker uplifted. I have to say looking around you can buy a cooker at a fraction of the price but decided initially to spend around £600 so as to get something of reasonable quality.
Unfortunately this was not how it ended with the first cooker being of dreadful build quality and not great to cook with. I had seen this before but ruled it out because it was a little more than I wanted to ... ...it to the one I had to have sent back I was sold and without even discussing it with the wife I just ordered it. When I showed her the picture she was not convinced, that was until it was delivered!
Totally and utterly thrilled with it did not think about the cost at all as the quality totally out weighs it. They say you get what you pay for and this is a good example of this.
I can't comment on other top branded makes but this compared to the ...

AEG-Electrolux D98000VFM - Electric Cooker
Advantages: Double Oven, easy clean, very easy to use, good functionality Disadvantages: Touch controls are quite sensitive, fault codes are not obvious
Disaster - 2 weeks before Chrismas my cooker blew up and with all the family coming to visit I had to buy and get one installed really quick. I popped into John Lewis (never knowingly undersold) and instantly fell for this cooker.
My main selection criteria was, it had to be electric, 2 ovens, good branding, 5 year warranty, look good and be delivered for Christmas. It ticked all the boxes and I went ahead with the purchase.
The goods arrived - ... ...A qualified electrician (my neighbour) was able to install this in about 45 mins, a simple case of moving out the old cooker and disconnecting, then reconnecting to the new one - this involved removing the back panel and reconnecting a few wires. The cooker then pushed straight back into place., and looked great - stainless stell with a black hob.
The user guide was really useful, I have never used a touch sensitive cooker before and it is really ...

A good choice for all round performance
Advantages: Fast and even cooking Disadvantages: grill pan not great
I've owned this oven for a couple of months now and I have to say its a joy to use. I opted for the stainless steel version which cost £549 but looked so much better than the white version. It easy to clean, fantastically quick at cooking anything and unlike my last fan assisted oven, very quiet. I only have one complaint about this product and that is the grill pan. On several occassions it has fell off the shelf at the back and the wire rack is ... ...easy to lose food off the rack into the pan, but generally I think its the best oven I've ever owned (as well as the most expensive), the inside light is really handy especially when it comes to cleaning inside the oven, and although its a double oven I've never had to use the top oven as the main one is pretty big, although christmas is coming so I wont rule it out. The rings heat up really quickly and cool down pretty quick too unlike those hot ...
