I purchased my Zanussi dual fuel cooker last September for £300 including delivery from Currys. I managed to get quite a large discount off the price because of Curry's Price Promise where they match the cheaper price/offer and discount 5%. So I ended up with a real bargain after shopping around - it pays to do it! It was delivered within 3 working days and was covered in this protective film. I had arranged for a Corgi engineer to be there on delivery ...
...cooker - great! After all the protective film was peeled off, the gleaming new stainless steel cooker gleamed in our kitchen - I felt like the proud owner of a Mercedes!! It looks really nice - not too fussy and not cheap looking - just practical and clean lines and lots of stainless steel! Well now to the cooking, I really cannot comment on much as I am a lucky gal being with my partner who happens to be a Chef, and he is happy now he's cooking ...

what a looker!

Advantages: sturdy and easy to use
Disadvantages: wish i'd bought the one with the gas grill

i love this cooker - i had a smaller budget and i got it from empire direct a good £100 cheaper than most places. this model ( i think i can see from the picture ) has the cast iron bits on the top which make the hob feel really strong and sturdy and look far less flimsy than the model down the timer is really easy to use the cooker i use almost daily -making bread, cakes and stews - the temperature seems right - no disasters as yet! the electric ...
...i just like gas grills and i wish now i had spent more and got that one. stainless steel - well a bit finger printy - but the hob keeps looking good if you just wipe it daily... the storage drawer underneath is really handy for the tins the wok burner is really fierce but you can get it really low after its heated up a bit. ...

Good looking, easy cooking

Advantages: Flexible, multifunction oven. Great hob, heats up fast. 'A' rated energy efficiency
Disadvantages: Only one oven. Grill can only be operated with the door closed

I bought this model based on looks, value and the fact that it has a pyrolitic cleaning function. I've just used the pyrolitic cleaning for the first time and just wish I'd bought one of these years ago. Cleaning an oven has never been so easy! The oven heats up to 500 degrees C (the door locks as a safety function) and when it's finished, after 2 hours, you just wipe a little bit of soot out of the bottom and hey presto! your oven looks brand new ...
...that it smells quite bad (it actually made me feel quite headachey and a bit sick) but hey! you can always go out for a long walk, and in any case it beats sitting on the kitchen floor, scrubbing away with a brillo pad, with old grease up to your elbows. I had never seen it in a showroom, so was a bit apprehensive, but as it turns out it's fabulous and I'm delighted with it. dfg905 cooker, load of rubbish

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: it burns everything in the oven

we have owned a delonghi range cooker dfg905 for almost 2 years and while the hob is ok the oven most certainly is not .Everything we cook in the oven gets burnt on the bottom ,we have lost count of the food that has been thrown away due to this. We are now considering getting a new cooker and cutting our losses, it wont be anything made by de longhi. has anyone else had this problem orr is it just us. we are both over 60 and have many years cooking ...

FRAMTID CG7 formerly PRO A10. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN.

Advantages: Looks good, easy to clean
Disadvantages: Too many to mention

...a new seal and only Whirlpool have them. They also take at least 2 WEEKS to supply and charge you delivery. Not good in my opinion. Spare parts are extremely difficult to obtain and cost the earth. Two other problems.... The gas burners lack power in terms of the gas flame heat. The biggest burner actually has the heat and power of a SMALL burner on a regular sized gas hob. I cannot get a really intense boil of water or anything else on the largest ...

The entire unit heats up to an intense heat when the oven is on so the whole external oven parts, door, all panelling and hob become so hot that you will be burnt if you touch it.
