Cookie is a book written by JacquelineWilson. It is a fantastic book and was well worth while as I enjoyed every single mintue of reading it. the book is about a young girl called Bueaty she is not very beautiful and she is timid. She is my favourite character in the book. Her character bulding in the book kept me reading as my eyes were stuck to the pages as i read. The book gives an insight to a young girls life and how young girls try and adapt to an enviroment that a young girl is put into and how she would deal with it. I think this book is worth the time and the money and I would recomend it to anyone who is interested in reading it. ...

Advantages: Its a good story and easy to read Disadvantages: None
JacquelineWilson's Cliffhanger is a great novel. However, this makes for a more confusing read than the normal JacquelineWilson stories. I found there were so many characters involved in this read and I became confused. When I was just getting used to the fact that there was only Mum, Dad and Tim, Several other characters appeared in the storyline which added greatly to my confusion.
Apart from this critisism, All in all the book was a good read, Although I had to read it several times to understand what was actually going on.
In connection to the main character Tim, my view is that there are fairly enormous gender issues surrounding this little boy with regards as to how his mum and dad parent him. My understanding of this is that although mum is happy initially to have Tim a mummy's boy, and portrays relative conflict ...
