I was quite excited about this game as i enjoy role playing and simulation game. In the game you have a variety of different dishes and you have to complete the steps to prepare and cook them, from cutting, slicinging sauting and stewing. You are given a set time for each step and once the meal has been prepared you are scored and given either a fail or bronze, silver or gold medal.
This game is fun for a while and great just to oick up for a few minutes at a time however not a game you i could play for hours on end in one go as although there is quite a variety of dishes to cook there are only really a few skills needed between the lot of theme.g cut, slice, stew, saute, mix etc. therefore the game can get very repetitive.
In addition to this there is absolutely no storyline, you are basically given a choice of dishes and you cook it and move onto the next one. In my opinion a storyline would give the player more goals and make the game seem as if there is more of a point to it, for example, to serve customers or build a restaurant reputation, which is perhaps why its better to play in short burst rather than for hours on end. Whereas if the aim was to serve custoimers or build a restaurant
The graphics on this game aren't great but for what the game is this doesn't really affect playing enjoyment.
If like me you enjoy this type of game then it is worthwhile as you can keep having short goes every so often, if you are not a fan however this game will probably just annoy you.
