Advantages: easy to use, would suit those who find regular openers awkward Disadvantages: may be difficult to remove the battery cover
with a traditional canopener - it sounds ridiculous but I was so frustrated with the can, the opener and my physical limitations that the tin nearly went through the kitchen window. And getting my parents to open a tin for me is all well and good but as I reached my twenties, that nagging "I'm old enough to drive but I can't open a tin of soup" feeling was bothering me.
