Fab - an Ice Lolly of tree parts

Advantages: An inexpensive treat that is not too unhealthy.
Disadvantages: Just watch out for orange drips on the t-shirts!!

*FAB ICE LOLLIES" * NEW ORANGE VARIETY* I love a bargain - don't we all !! Expecting my three young grandchildren for a visit and hoping for good weather I was pleased to find this new variety of the old favourite, Fab lolly ices in Sainsbury's at the price of £1 for 8 ( a lot cheaper than getting them off the ice cream man!!!) These were less than half price as the r.r.p. is £1.99, so a couple of packets went in my trolley to go in the freezer at home. There are now three varieties of the old favourite available - the original strawberry, lime and orange; as yet I have not tried the lime and this review is about the orange variety. Just in case some of you have been living in a time warp, the Fab lolly consists of three parts, starting with a fruit based ice lolly which goes right through ...

Nestle Fab Ice Lollies

Advantages: great on hot days
Disadvantages: can be messy

Nestle Fab Ice Lollies Summer si nearly here and it really is beginning to get hot. In this heat there is nothing I like more than to be able to suck on something ice cold to chill me outside and inside. Nestle Fab ice lollies are the perfect thing for this particular craving and I must go through a good couple of dozen every summer. I tend to buy the multi packets from Tesco or Morrison's when I do my shopping but if I am out for an afternoon stroll I may be persuaded to buy myself a single ice-lolly from the shop. The cost is pretty reasonable and I pay around 50 pence for a single ice lolly or £1.99 for a large multi packet. They have been around for as long as I can remember and I always enjoyed eating them as a child. The thing I like most about these ice-lollies is that they have so much to offer. They are neither ...

Review of Nestle Fab Ice Lollies

TESCO VALUE FRUIT FLAVOUR ICE LOLLIES .. good value??

Advantages: COST NEXT TO NO MONEY for 10 WHOLE LOLLIES!
Disadvantages: some people just don't like value products - that could be their disadvantage though.

Summer has arrived! well sort of ... I think ... and ,at this time of year I like to have a few ice lollies on standby in the freezer .. But at the extortionate prices of some branded ice lollies out there and also looking at the high calorific value of some of the products on the market ,I was determined to find a product to suit both my bank account and my waistline(well a product that would help with the waistline- if it wasn't for all the other junk ,I stuff my face with!! ) As a tesco.com shopper it was easy to search for products at leisure while at home and in my own time I ttook some time to read nutritional values and check prices and look for special offers etc ... I decided after ALL THAT! , that I would just throw a couple of boxes of Tesco 's own brand Tesco VALUE 10 assorted fruit flavour lollies . Now based ...
