Advantages: beautiful bread, easy to use, versatile Disadvantages: family can't get enough bread
...Mmmmmmmmm...wow what is that beautiful smell? It's my fresh baked fruit loaf straight out of my Prima Auto Breadmaker. My family love me more each time I bake :)
A very reasonably priced breadmaker(around£40),added to the total cost of a lovely warm loaf being cheaper than in the supermarkets, makes this a wonderfull addition to any kitchen. From crusty loaves, fruitbreads to home made jam, any one can operate it and it is fool proof.
There is only 1 cardinal rule for breadmakers...this model is no exception and that is to follow the ingredients EXACTLY,if you do that, then even the most disasterous cook will be at home in the kitchen.

Advantages: Good instruction book and easy to use Disadvantages: large and a little bulky
...with the machine which has been excellent but with get my reciepe and measurements correct, be preparded to ruin your first few loaves until you perfect your measurements and reciepe. What is good about the bread maker is it comes with a fault book on bread so if you make your loaf and it is too doughy it will tell you how to correct it for next time, something I found very helpful.
You can save your own settings in the breville as well as using there own recommended settings so if you want to cook your loaf for longer, you can save your settings to use in future.
All in all a ver good breadmaker. My only criticism is that it is quite large and takes up a big chunk of space in my kitchen. But it isn't any larger than most other bredmakers....

...’s.
There is a more serious point to this, as dough covering the bare element could be a potential cause of a fire.
There is another problem, this is with the mixing paddle. It often tends to have bread sticking to it after the bread is baked and so removing the cooked loaf can be a bit of a problem. The size of the hole that the paddle leaves also means that several slices of each loaf are, in effect, lost.
It is possible that this problem is inherent to all breadmakers, and hopefully a new design of mixing feature might be able to be developed to counter this problem.
In short, the Prima breadmaker is a useful item for your kitchen, but you must be ready for the potential problems that I have outlined above....
