I have always envied people who can make bread successfully. I don?t know how they find the time nor the patience to knead the dough wait for it to rise an then bake it. All my attempts have ended up in the bin. However, I recently asked a friend how she manages to make her own bread, run a farm and do a part time job. I thought I would give bread making a go. I bought one of these premixed bread recipes and my son and I got down to kneading. It ain't for the faint hearted, it takes ages, it is very messy and the dough is difficult to clean. However we did make nice bread, so much so I really wanted fresh bread without the hassle.
