...I know I’m reviewing a Cookworks steamer, just bear with me and the point will become clear (I hope!) Anyway, so there’s me, in my new flat, cooking with my Pacific steamer almost every night for 3 weeks, until that is, it broke. Basically boiled dry. I didn’t realise the water level had gone down to zero, therefore knackering the element bit, and rendering the steamer useless. I have to say that kinda put me off buying another one - I mean you expect ... ...I will be comparing the cookworks steamer I bought, to my previous, now defunct Pacific steamer -told you there was a point to it didn’t I?!
So, approximatley 6 months on, and deciding I eat too much junk and need to be healthier, I decided to buy another steamer, and Argos at the time, had a 3 tier cookworks steamer in the sale for £9.99. I bought one and took it home, hoping for better results with this one.

Cookworks 3 Bowl Steamer is an electrical device designed to steam cook food. i recently purchased a cookworks three bowl steamer form argos for £19.99.
as a chef im used to using pans etc but since i bought this i rarely ever use pans now.
It has 3 see through bowls,a seventy five minute timer with auto switch off and an easy pour for water.
The advantages of this steamer is you can cook for up to four people with it,set it on timer so you can carry on getting ready whilst it cooks and if you forget you are cooking the ... ...like it would if you cook using pans etc.
My favourite meal is salmon with new potatoes, brocolli, carrots and asparagus.
i put the salmon with sliced lemon and in the bottom as that will take longest to cook roughly 15 minutes,the new potatoes i cut in half as they also would take a while to cook and they go in the middle with rosemary sprinkled on them roughly 15 minutes, and the carrots and asparagus on the top as they take least time to cook. ...
