Having just broken my Prima glass kettle (which I loved) which is a completely different story, my hunt was on for a new kettle.

The Cookworks range are pretty cheap in price and I've seen their products in Asda and Argos and am sure they are stocked in loads of other places too.

I decided that I would like the old fashioned, traditional style of kettle but being just after Christmas, there was a strick budget to adhere to. I chose the Cookworks Chrome Cordless Kettle which I bought from Argos at #16.99 (sorry the pound sign isn't working!). It is described as 'traditional' in the Argos catalogue and is obviously chrome as mentioned. The handle is black, heavy duty plastic mould as all kettles and it has a black base to rest on.

What else is there to say? It is great value for money, quick to boil and when compared to the more pricier kettles of the same design well, why pay more?
