I love this machine for its ease of use, but also for the fact that it was incredibly cheap and does the same job as machines that come in at ten times the price. It was purchased as my third coffee maker in one year (I'm a clumsy beast), so I think I am now in a position to offer an objective view on the budget coffee maker market ;-)
After the initial clean out, I've not had a single issue with this machine, it's flawless. Coffee is dumped into the small basket, water goes into the reserve and *surprisingly quickly* you have a passable cup of the black stuff.
I will point out two things for potential purchasers to consider:
1) Remember that the size of a 'proper' cup of coffee is fairly small. If you're using mugs/larger tea cups, plan to make two cups as shown on the machine for each of your normal cups 2) Coffee from a drip machine will not be as strong as that from a good machine operating under pressure. I recommend using half as much coffee as you normally would again!
