After the company I work for refused to renew the contract for the Tea & Coffee vending machines, myself and my co-workers were left without our daily caffeine hits. I got the machine from Argos for about £5 and for the price I was expecting a very flimsy bit of kit that would last about 5 minutes. It looks and feels very cheap but it makes hot coffee and that's the main thing. So far it has been running 40 hours a week over the last 6 months. At first there was a slight plastic taste but soon went away with use. It says that you can get 12 cups from one pot but in reality you can only get about 8 or 9 average sized paper cups. The only real bad point is that the built in filter is rather coarse and lets some sediment through. Use with disposable filters is recommended.
