The Cookworks handblender is a cheap and cheerful blender. I bought it for 4.99 from Argos and it does the job.
I'm not a great cook or anything. I like to fiddle around in the kitchen from time to time and do a little baking with my two daughters so its a handy thing to have. Since I'm not one for doing fabulous dishes, I didn't want to spending loads on something I'd not use too often.
The Cookworks hand blender is white with a royal blue button ... ...a touch button type so you press whatever end you need for your chosen speed of blending. It has a detachable head on it for ease of cleaning and is dishwasher safe - an absolute must in my house!! It also comes with a rubber blue hook on the end of it for hanging up when not in use. It is a 220 watt which seems to be somewhere in the middle from other hand blenders that I've checked out but as I said - it does the job!

I bought this hand blender shortly after Christmas in Argos, where I got it for a bargain price. It includes not only a blender, but a measuring cup as well, which is perfect for making smoothies in.
