Advantages: Fantastic Look, Sound Meter, Blue LEDS Disadvantages: None, it totally rocks!
...it is such a small form factor, it can easily accomodate full ATX motherboards meaning you can build the system you always wanted too, not just because it fits! The case is of solid build with well defined bays for CD-ROM size drives (up to 2) and up to 3 Hard Disks, two in conventional bays and an extra bay horizontally on the opposite side. Also a bay for a floppy drive, if you so desire! The layout is ideal, plenty of room for airflow, and cable routing, definitely reccomended for high spec machines.
Cooling :
This is where the namesake "CoolerMaster" truly comes into it's own, with fans galore. A large fan (80mm) pulls air into the case from the side blowing directly over the hard drives/ram. assiting this fan in exhausting the hot air are 2x40mm fans attached above the rear output panel. Finishing the cooling features is the CPU cooling shroud...

...hardware fast and long tends to begin a mini oven inside an inadequate case.
Ports and expansion
----------------------------
As you can see, there are plenty of (5 1/2") drive bays at the front; though why you'd ever need 4 cd/dvd players is beyond me. Two spaces for floppy drives, and 2 hard drives on the inside is plenty for anyone. Especially considering the cheapness of memory nowadays. But I digress.
The USB 2.0 ports at the front are a godsend if you have an MP3 player, camera or something you continually plug in/ out of your computer. (Ooo err!) There is one for a mic, and one for Firewire; firewire is the one for your video cameras and REALLY fast stuff. Oh and not forgetting headphones.
You can fit a standard ATX size motherboard in here, which gives you a lot of choice, and will generally be the best for home/business. Unless you...

Advantages: Features and expansion Disadvantages: Value
...The ATC S4000 SX-1 is a much older design than is what is expected off a high end manufatcurer like CoolerMaster.
The first that strikes you about the S4000 is its lustrous aluminium finish - it's simply gorgeous.
Unfortunatly, the great aesthetics come at a price. A hefty £271 to be exact, this ain't therefore no civilian case. You're not just paying for a great finish, though; the inside edges are smoothly rounded off so your fingers won't end up looking like Freddy Krueguer's once you've finished upgrading.
In contrast to the highprice, you can't actually fit all that much inside the S4000 as there are only three 5.25" external and five 3.5" internal drive bays. Ironically, this is one of the most expensive, made by CoolerMaster, but it has the fewest bays than most of the others in its league.
It may be diminutive inside...

I purchased this PSU when I got the rest of my new system to build because I know Cooler Master have a good reputation when it comes to power supplies and computer cases, and I must say that I made a good choice in doing this, as I have had no problems... more
