CoolerMaster Real Power M700 Modular PSU - power supply - 700 Watt

I just bought this PSU a month ago, so not much experience. I'm running a Q6600 & HD 3850 on Abit IX38 QuadGT. M700 seems to do fine & the air coming from back of PSU is really cool. It's done it's job flawlessly so far. When I get Crossfire & OC my CPU, I will know more, but not a bad word of this PSU so far. I give only 4/5 stars, because I don't know enough of this PSU, except it's doing very well so far.

If I'm happy with this PSU after a couple of years with my full Crossfire HD 3870x2 & OCed Penryn, this will earn 5/5 stars! No doubt ;)

Package includes all the modular cables you need for PCI-E 6 or 8 pin configuration, SATA cables & molex. Even for 2 floppy. EPS 8-pin is also included, as well as older 4-pin, for CPU. Voltages seem to be very stable.

OK some updated info, added 4th September 2008

I've ran my ATI HD 4870 Crossfire (2 videocards) setup almost 2 & half months. I also changed my CPU to E8500 with overclocking. Also memmory increased to 4 GB of RAM, so I had to change Vista from 32-bit to 64-bit to support the amount of memory.

This new setup certainly consumes more power. ATI recommends a 650 watt power supply for HD 4870 Crossfire setup & my Cooller Master M700 has done a great job so far! AND it's silent, which can't be said about my new videocards.

The airflow from the back of my PSU is still very low & I would say cool. This PSU has only 2 PCI-E power chords for videocard(s), but that's not a problem in this case, because Sapphire included 2 (two) molex->PCI-E adapters per videocard - 4 altogether.
I used 2 PCI-E cables included with M700 & 2 included with Sapphire videocards, so I still have 2 molex->PCI-E spare.

In a similar setups I've heard some issues with other good PSUs (not naming them ;) , concerning the stability & noise issues. I've noticed none with M700.

If it's working as it has after a year, I think I can easily upgrade my rating to 5/5 stars easily! =)
