...I purchased this PSU when I got the rest of my new system to build because I know Cooler Master have a good reputation when it comes to power supplies and computer cases, and I must say that I made a good choice in doing this, as I have had no problems with it since it was installed. When I received the power supply with the rest of the bits it came in a large box with all the various power cables which can be plugged into it. I have to say that although I've never actually bought a power supply before, the way this one was presented was actually really nice. I mean I know it's just a black box that gives your computer the power it needs but the way the box came open and the way everything came packaged made it seem as though Cooler Master really have thought about everything when designed this product. ...but it's very well cooled. Between the front panel and the 3.5" bays there is a 120mm intake fan, while a pair of 80mm fans such hot air out. Another two 80mm fans are mounted in the middle of the case to suck cool air directly into the main cavity. Having two sources of cool air- one for the drives and one for the main cavity- is a great idea that i would like to see in more cases, for today's builder. CoolerMaster doesn't supply a PSU with the S4000 but all five fans (4 x 80mm, 1 x 120mm) so you shouldn't have any problems keeping your PC cool. There's also a rackmount kit supplied in the box so you can slot in the S4000 into a 19" rack if you really want to. All the drive bays, and power and reset buttons are hidden away behind a sturdy lockable door, so no one 'accidentally on purpose' reset your machine halfway through a grudge match... Read review
