CoolerMaster CM690 is the master!

Advantages: Cheap, well ventilated, screw-less design
Disadvantages: None for me.

When upgrading my computer and installed the new parts in my old case, this proved to be a bit of a silly idea as the temperatures it was running at was too high. Having largely spent out on the upgrade i wanted a fairly cheap case. The CoolerMaster CM690 looked like it was to fit the bill perfectly, its was fairly cheap approx £55, it did NOT come with power supply, which for me wasn't a problem as I'd just bought a new CoolerMaster Real Power M620 620W PSU. To start with this case looks very good and feels light when empty. It also feels sturdy and well balanced on my desk and on carpet, although a carpet with too high a pile on it could interfere with the PSU exhaust and the mounting for another fan. The front and top of the case is basically a big grille which obviously helps with letting the hot air escape. Access is ...

Cooler Master Cosmos S - Review

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Nothing

First of all the Cosmos S case comes in excellent protective packaging. A sturdy cardboard outer box encases two styrofoam blocks (top & bottom) which prevent the case from moving at all during transportation. The case is wrapped inside of a plastic bag, and then again, inside Cooler Master's own fabric bag which is brown in colour and is strong enough to retain and use in the future whenever the case needs covering. It's the little extra's and attention to detail that makes a lot of difference in my opinion. If first impression's are anything to go by, then this case ticks all the boxes. It's huge, beautiful and demands the attention of any passer by, whether they are interested in computers or not! Along with the case comes a plastic bag containing all of the necessary bits and pieces to assemble the case and control the cable ...

Review of Cooler Master Cosmos S

Very good for the price

Advantages: Well built
Disadvantages: Sides and front audio abit flimsy and a little cheap

Pros: I've been waiting a long time to find a good, sleek looking mid-tower black case that was simple enough, cheap, and didn't come with a power supply. I found this Cooler Master Elite case in a Newegg newsletter and without shipping this case couldn't have been much better of a deal. The case comes with a nice big 120 MM fan and you can add another one to the front of the case to cool your hard drives. There is an air vent that comes with the case that is useful to run air straight from your CPU heatsink/fan out of the case allowing the case itself to stay cool. Cons: The case does feel a little flimsy, specifically the side panel when removed. When everything is setup together, though, the case is solid and perfect for normal desktop use. Someone who moves their computer case around constantly might want to consider something ...
