Advantages: Will save your PC & Equitment during power problems Disadvantages: Not easy to connect
...Good device , we get alot of fluctuations in power which might not be noticeable on TVs and Video/DVD other than a hiss.
On your PC the Desktop and equitment can freeze or crash.
The UPS has Three Battery terminals and 1 surge terminal.
Remmember You will need to change Power cables to Kettle leads both ways ( 3 point kettle male to female ), Two leads are suppliedwith APC UPS.
I connected Desktop , Monitor & WDSL Decorder.
Connect USB cable , other end to UPS rear , abit like a telephone plug.( cable supplied with APC UPS).
Connect modem cable if you use one
Load the PowerChute Person Edition software for XP.
The software should power down PC & Monitor when power problems occur.
Check power level indicator , this should tell you if you have overloaded the UPS.
Power level is Half way, Cool.

Advantages: Modular so there's no mess with cables, made by CoolerMaster Disadvantages: The sheathing around the cables can make them hard to handle
...I purchased this PSU when I got the rest of my new system to build because I know CoolerMaster have a good reputation when it comes to powersupplies and computer cases, and I must say that I made a good choice in doing this, as I have had no problems with it since it was installed.
When I received the powersupply with the rest of the bits it came in a large box with all the various power cables which can be plugged into it. I have to say that although I've never actually bought a powersupply before, the way this one was presented was actually really nice. I mean I know it's just a black box that gives your computer the power it needs but the way the box came open and the way everything came packaged made it seem as though CoolerMaster really have thought about everything when designed this product.
At first it seemed a bit...

Advantages: Very cheap, extremely low power consuption, can be used with fanless cooler Disadvantages: Poor performance compared with today multi core processors
...Well what can I say, single core processor, I used to have something like this not so long ago, a good processor then but now a new era of processors had arrived, the dual core and quad core processors. Nevertheless the processor has it's own and unique advantages and disadvantages:
The good stuff:
Still not many multi thread aplications that the processor deals pretty well
Magnificent power consumption, only 30-35 watt on full load, and 5-6 watt when cool and quiet enabled
Can be used with a fan less cooler for a silent and energy efficient computer
So cheap
The not so good stuff:
Modest performance in single threaded aplications
Poor performance in multi threaded aplications
Say goodbye to HD movies (although some video cards can decode HD movies, but why risk: ) and future applications
Modest over clocking on low cost...

Never thought I would write a review of a strimmer but here I go anyway.
My old man always had a big loud and heavy petrol trimmer at home and I grew up with that but in my house the garden is not half as huge as his and I felt that splashing out a... more
First of all the Cosmos S case comes in excellent protective packaging. A sturdy cardboard outer box encases two styrofoam blocks (top & bottom) which prevent the case from moving at all during transportation. The case is wrapped inside of a plastic bag, more
