Advantages: Cleans brilliantly Disadvantages: Smells of bleach
...Well there I was searching the supermarket shelves for my usual kitchen cleaner (Mr Muscle) when 'shock horror' the slot where there usually are was empty! Ah well I thought I'll just have to try another - bet it won't be as good (see my Mr Muscle review!).
Scanning the shelves I spied a Flash product called Flash Spray with Bleach. It comes in a 500ml white plastic bottle with a red spray head at the top and a handy gun design for you to hold and spray it. It has an orange label with Flash written in yellow on it. The background picture is of a sparkling clean kitchen and bathroom. I paid £1.59 for my bottle from the Co-Op but I suspect Asda or Tescos have it cheaper!
When I got home I opened up the replaceable flip cap over the nozzle and began cleaning my old worktops. Now as my worktops are rather old they take something...

Advantages: Cleans well without really having to scrub Disadvantages: The smell is overpowering!
...I get the purple Parazone bleach. I find it much more effective than a lot of the bleaches I have used and so far it seems to have repelled the limescale in my toilet as I have not seen any in the bowl at all!
It is quite a thick bleach and sticks well and thus doesnt fall straight down the bottom of the bowl, so clean all areas.
The bleach is stated as being Lavendar scented, however I don't smell this -I can just smell bleach. This is slightly disappointing as I can't stand the bleach smell in the bathroom after cleaning.
It doesnt concern me too much though knowing that if there is no sign of muck, there will be no sogn of germs in my loo so much now....

...I recently went to buy bleach at Asda and for a change bought their own brand make. Usually I get domestos.
The bleach cost 66p for 750ml, which is about 30p less than domestos. I bought the Apple version, which is a green bottle.
The bottle is very simple with a boring label. It has an angled head which allows easy pouring.
The liquid itself is yellowy and thick. I used it on my toilet, bath plug hole and sink plug holes (bathroom & kitchen)
I left it for about 5 minutes before washing off. It just smelt like bleach rather than apples, don't understand that one.....
When washed off, the results were excellent, all muck and limescale removed, just like when domestos is used
Overall an ok bleach that is fine for the cost...

Because my eyebrows are naturally a bushy nightmare, I have 'fat-person' paranoia - although they are much slimmer and tidier than they used to be, I can't help comparing mine with other peoples - are theirs in better shape? What tweezers do they use?... more
