Advantages: You can enter your pet into a three legged race
Disadvantages: Your pet loses a limb and get depressed

...find their own way of coping otherwise they will never gain the skills to do so if you rush to help all the time. I think actually lying down is easier for her as her bad leg was probably stopping her finding a comfortable position and very painful for her. Moby's Amazing Story

Advantages: in my case, stopped growth spreading further into the body, therfore prolonging the life of Moby
Disadvantages: emotionally draining for the owner, expensive operation, a lot of after care involved

Hi, I wanted to tell you my story about my amazing beautiful Border Collie Moby who is now 4 yrs old and lives with 2 other Border Collies.
