I have a Core 1.5t Hdd connected to a HDTV via USB

Thank you 'jodiestokes' for your help. I have tried formatting to NFTS but my Freesat box will only accept the HDD in Fat32. Would welcome any further thoughts from anyone. nosnad23.

I have a Core 1.5t Hdd connected to a HDTV via USB

Having problem with TV recognising the HDD. The HDD works intially and records HDTV via the USB. But when both units are switched off the TV fails to recognise the HDD on start up, the message ' USB device is not ready or not FAT32' The only way to bring the HDD back to life is to format it! Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem please?
