So its my birthday, I have asked my mum for a new pair of straighteners as the plates on my old GHD's have fallen out. I unwrap my present expecting the latest pair of GHD's in hot pink, and I get these straighteners that I havent heard of , but in a rather cool leapord print box. I try to hide my dissapointment that they are not GHDs and put them on the side. When I get home later I decide to experiment with these straighteners that aren't the GHDs I was expecting. I was pleasently surprised. They were actually better than my GHDs!

They are very lightweight, heat up super quickly, have thin plates so arent too bulky, and you can adjust the temperature with a nifty dial on the wire. They turn off automatically after about 30 minutes so you don't leave them on all day if you forget to unplug them, and not only can you straighten you hair you can also get tight curls, or loose curls and flicks easily from these straighteners. They also have 'Silver nano technology' which is meant to kill most of the bacteria on your hair too. The plug also has a 2 pin plug that is plugged into a 3-pin plug to use at home, but then you can just take that bit off, so you can use the 2 pin plus when abroad so don't need to spend on another adapter!

These straighteners allow me to quickly straighten or style my hair, and takes less than 10 minutes to straighten my hair. As I have long hair I have previoulsy had to spend 30 minutes straightening my hair with different straighteners. As they are very small and lightweight I find it easy to put curls into my hair, which I can then change immediately if I don't like the way it falls. After they have been turned on they are heated up ready for use in less than 10 seconds, and the digital display on they clip shows you the exact temperature, and allows you to adjust the temperature up to 210°C.

And after being amazing straighteners they still look pretty funky when hung on a peg on my dresser cooling down!
