Flash Voyager is a robust USB-drive with a huge storage capacity. Flash Voyager and Flash Voyager GT are placed in a full-rubber casing. The water-repellent drives enable the user to carry large quantities of data safely with them. In several tests the Flash Voyager products have demonstrated the strength, long life and reliability, which one expects from the brand. The Flash Voyager drives were mishandled in independent tests in washing machines, baking ovens, freezers and boiling water. They were dropped from great heights and were even placed below the wheels of cross-country vehicles. But even all these tortures could not harm the drive.

What are the big advantages?
First of all, there is a high durability, it is shockproof and it is even water resistant! You don't have to worry that you dropped the USB flash drive in your bath or you forget to take it out of your pants and it's in the washing machine. It even withstand if you drop it out of the window from the first floor. This is what the rubber shell has to offer and I can guarantee that's not that bad to have it. An accident happens very fast!
It has a huge storage capacity. There are now already 32 GB flash drives at the market, but I think 16 GB is more than enough. If you need more, you would be better off with an external drive. They don't wait that much and you can take more than 250 GB with you. This USB flash drive is very handy if you want to take a computer game to a friend or a bunch of movies. Since the computer games sometimes take more than 8 GB, this comes in handy. Nevertheless, if you only use a USB flash for a couple of photos, excel spreadsheets or word documents, I advise you to take a 2 or 4 GB stick. They are much cheaper and sometimes a bit faster! This is because they had to use a Multi-Layer Cell (MLC) memory to achieve the 16 GB storage. Since the flash drives with smaller storage capacity uses Single-Layer Cell memory (SLC), they perform faster. This flash drive has a read performance of 25 MB's/ sec
The USB flash drive is compatible with Vista and Ubuntu, which is very good. So you don't have to worry if your friends have a Linux or a windows operating system. I don't know if it is compatible with a Mac, because I don't have one.

Corsair flash voyager 2.0 USB is one of many sticks available on the market.
Main thing that differs it from other products is a nice looking rubber coating that is really
good solution; makes the stick waterproof and more resist to physical damage. It also makes it bigger and thicker and plugging another usb device next to it is impossible.
One thing that bothers me is that looped piece of rubber may be broken when accidently pulling it while ... ...lost a few times, but Corsair provides a replacement for the lost one for free. Producent also adds nice blue neck strap, CD with soft but is not needed to use the device, and usb cable which is very short but useful for pc’s with no usb ports in front. No manual included. For people that intend to storage important data on it TrueCrypt utility will come handy, but encrypted data can be access only if TrueCrypt is installed. Declared write ...

I ordered this product as a replacement for my 1 GBCorsairFlashVoyager, which, due to its limited capacity, had started to look a bit long in the tooth. As my old USBflashdrive had been a faithful companion over the years, I was happy to fork out a relative premium for the "Mini" version of the FlashVoyager.
The drive arrived in the expected transparent plastic packaging (although it was good to see that Corsair was being nice to environment by using only a minimal amount of plastic - I also noticed a RoHS/Pb-FREE notice on the pack, which indicates that the drive is lead-free). As I always do, I checked the manufacturing country and was not surprised to see that the product had been assembled in China (as indicated by the "ASSY IN CHINA" blurb above the barcode).
The drive itself is about 3.5 cm long and 2 cm wide ...
