The installation of this memory is so easy a complete amateur would have no problem with it, and is completely compatible with most, if not all motherboards. So the possibility of incompatability is almost irradicated.

The memory comes in several capacity combinations.

1 Gigabyte - 1 x 1GB Stick or 2 x 512MB Sticks
512MB - 1 x 512MB Sticks or 2 x 256MB Sticks
256MB - 1 x 256MB Stick
