I bought the Cosatto Hogarth cot bed as after searching for months to find a good looking cot bed in cream to go in a neutral nursery it stood out from the rest. It comes in 3 colours cream, country pine and walnut. It has a really chunky , sturdy design and I was really pleased to find a cot bed with a drop down side as most have fixed sides. It is simple to build but definatley a 2 person job !!! It has 3 mattress height positions, drop side, teething rails and the footboard splits for when you need to change it from a cot to a bed. I purchased mine from kiddicare.com and got a foam mattress included with delivery for £199.97 you can't get much better than that ! Communication and service from KIddicare was excellent ...

A nice cot bed. We chose the antique pine one and are pleased with the wood and the finish, The varnish is a little shiny for our taste but I guess that's the price of having wipe clean wood. It has 3 mattress height positions, drop side, teething rails and the footboard splits for when you need to change it from a cot to a bed. A disadvantage is that it doesnt have a one handed drop down method like many other cots do,so to drop the side you have to lift a catch at each end of the cot.A niggle not a huge problem. I built it easily on my own without the instruction book.Some how it arrived to us without the book but to cosatto's credit they swiftly replied to my complaining email with a copy of the instructions. High quality bedside or stand-alone cot

Disadvantages: Slight gap between my mattress & the cot mattress

We bought this cot when my baby was about 4 months old. She never liked sleeping in her moses basket so the result was that she slept in our bed which wasn't particularly comfortable for any of us! The Cosatto Olivia bedside cot attracted us as you can completely remove one side of the cot, so you can pull the cot right up to the side of your bed. It is suitable for babies from birth. WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS COT: * My baby seemed to like sleeping near to us, but within her own space.
