Advantages: Great game
Disadvantages: difficult at first

...Cossacks 2 is made by the creators of the well known 'Cossacks - European Wars' and is a worthy sequel. This game allows the player to control large armies very easily which, when there are 64,000 men on the map, can be extremely useful. The game is significantly different from the original Cossacks. The formations are similar, but you can know do things like rank firing and the reloading time is know similar to real life. It is so much better. The campaign map 'The Battle for Europe' is great. Each of the five factions have a captain who, with battle experience, will become a field marshal. In the army you can recruit different men and you can chose how many of each type of unit you want. The armies are then moved from province to province in turns. Whenever your army attacks or is attacked you end up fighting a battle... Read review

...Cossacks 2 is made by the creators of the famous Cossacks series of strategy games based on the 18th century and this new installment takes place during the Napoleonic wars. Like previous versions it allows you, the player, to control large armies made up of thousands of men and war machines as you face off against other armies commanded by the computer A.I. in an attempt to conquer territory for your country. On the subject of countries, Cossacks 2 gives the player a choice of one of six nations to control, each based on the major powers of the day: Great Britain, France, Russia, Austria Hungary, Prussia and Egypt.
