...Well, we've all done it, haven't we?, You know, you struggle back from the shops, arms full of bags,rummage for your keys, open the door, pick up the bags again and then find you can't get down the hall 'cos there is a bloody great Mercedes parked there!!........... O.K. maybe not......But i have and I have to tell you that I dont mind really, this is a great toy, my son loves it and it is a bit of a head turner. We bought this MERCEDES 500 SL electric car for our son last christmas and although it is meant for children over the age of three years (he was two at the time) we just could not resist it, and it has proved to be a big hit, not just with him but with nieghbours and passers by. ...I think it is fair to say that I was prepared and planned for Aleyna's birth. I spent the last 2 months of my pregnancy nesting, organising, obsessing, much to my husband's delight as I am normally a little slovenly!! However nothing could have prepared us for Aleyna spending 2 weeks in intensive care. I had already bought the Medela Electric breast pump, I knew I would be going back to work after a short time and I knew if at all possible that I wanted to breastfeed. When my milk had still not come in 5 days after Aleyna's birth (she was on a serum drip in the incubator so no milk for her at that stage), with a little help from the midwife I decided to focus on getting my milk supply going in order to give her the best start if and when she was able to take milk. ...i really could not have survived without my medela mini electric. Which i bought from the local thuiszorg shop.. with a discount (as i joined their club to cut on costs) for about 35 euros. As i was exclusively breastfeeding my son even when he was at daycare (aged 3 months to 9 months) i started with a manual pump but found i was developing RSI from the repetitive movement. I had originally rented the larger (less portable) solution when i had problems lactating when my son was born. That was really expensive and too bulky to carry around but this is compact and easy to use (didn't use batteries much as they became empty quickly) and fit easily into my small work bag so i didnt feel too obvious carrying it to work. The guarantee on it indicates it's covered only for a couple of months use.. but as i said i used it for 6 months... Read review
